International terminal of Puerto Princesa Airport in Palawan, Philippines was open in May.4th, 2017. The new airport is 45,000sqm totally and it can accommodate more than 1.9million passenger a year.
The airport false ceiling design is full of tropical feature. Now let's have a look at it. The hall aluminium non-standard ceiling is combined with two parts: colorful linear ceilings for the roof and 3D-shaped panel for the column.
The roof is semi-open style with aluminum linear ceiling. Compared with the traditional closed-installation for linear ceiling, semi-open design has gaps between ceilings. As we know, a crowd of people always come in and out of the airport, it should be good ventilation and sunshine could come into the hall. So the designers considered these reasons, they decided to use such modern Aluminium ceiling design.
